Shabbat Chai

Dear Religious School Families,

This is our last week of the 2019-20 Religious School year. This year has been filled with so many wonderful memories with your children! Our youngest students understand what a mitzvah is and why it is important, they also do a beautiful job reciting the Shabbat Blessings, students participated in the Chanukah Palooza and an epic Purim Palooza!  Monday Hebrew students led our community and leaders from other faith organizations in 2 prayer services, answering questions about the meanings of the prayers and our traditions. Eight and a half weeks ago, we moved our classrooms from the TBESOC building to Zoom meeting rooms. Students continued their learning with interactive games in Kahoot, took virtual trips to Israel and most importantly were able to maintain friendships, grow relationships and connections with each other and our community. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making all of this possible, parents, teachers and students!

We are looking forward to spending Shabbat together this Friday, May 15 at 4pm. Parents please join your student in their virtual classroom for a special celebration of the years learning.
