We hope that you are doing well. Rabbi K’vod has created some wonderful family discussion materials. Take some time to read through the material and we hope that you have meaningful discussion.

Who Believes in God Anymore

Tough Questions

Dear  Families,

It was great to catch up with our 6th and 7th graders this week. They discussed their distance learning experiences and shared what they are looking forward to in the week ahead. We finished our introduction to Chatzi Kaddish, and everyone was able to read part of the prayer aloud. Students should practice reading and chanting this prayer at home during the week. It is the prayer covered in Workbook 10, which all students received a copy of several weeks ago. If your child does not have their workbook, the text of this prayer can be accessed by clicking the  following link and scrolling to page 120: HERE

The melody can be accessed here: HERE

We began our Pesach learning with a fun Passover Mad Libs activity, and students reviewed  Mah Nishtanah (The Four Questions). We concluded with an exciting round of Passover Jewpardy. Several students were able to join us for our class today, and I hope to see even more of you next week when we’ll continue discussing Passover and review the prayers we have learned this year.

Take care,
