Gimel News

Shalom Gimel Families,

It was good to see so many kids at our Zoom Hebrew School session yesterday! We loved seeing your plague projects. We reviewed the Four Questions and played an interactive quiz game through a site called Kahoot! The kids liked this even though it was a bit hard for some to split their screens and play. We will do more with this in future. After our time, Cantor Young led Tefillah for all.

Next week, we will meet for just 20 mins. We would like kids to have a special Passover item to share with group. This can be a seder plate they made, a special kiddish cup or anything like that.

Homework assignment

Please have your child listen, practice, and record themselves singing the Four Questions.

HERE are the Four Questions in Hebrew, English, and transliteration. Also, here is a link to the Four Questions Prayer-eoky:

Please email the recording to: No later than Sunday 6:00pm

Also included:

Order of the Seder HERE

The Ten Plagues art activity HERE instructions. To be completed to share during our next class. If you haven’t done this, it’s a fun activity and you can us it at your seder.

We encourage you all to join our next virtual class and hope to see you on Monday 3/30/2020 at 4:30 pm.

It was great seeing your kids it gives us a chance to connect with them and hear their stories. It is also a wonderful chance for the kids to see their friends.

In is important to stay connected during these challenging times.

Thank you,

Morah Michal and Morah Sandy
