Interim Plans in Response to COVID-19

Staying spiritually connected while physically distancing

Clergy and staff from all of our synagogue communities are committed to supporting our entire community even when we cannot be close to each other physically. Social distancing does not mean social isolation. This website contains a compilation of resources, activities, and media in order for you and your children to remain connected to Jewish community and Torah during this challenging time. Join in activities, learning, and worshiping throughout the week.

Our community comes together to help each other. Offer or request help using the links above

Interim Plans in Response to COVID-19

“We are all responsible for/to one another” (Sanhedrin 27b)

We are making every effort to offer services/programs remotely indefinitely (links will be provided on the website and calendar), and at minimum through April 19. When remote gathering is not an option, we will cancel or postpone the event. We will continue to provide updates via email and on our website.

ANY events you have registered and paid for that are canceled:

  • We would sooo appreciate you making the amount you paid a donation
  • Refunds will be issued at your request (please email Myka Thompson to initiate)

All committee meetings should be held by remote conferencing, whenever possible.

  • Temple staff will provide committee chairs with resources for virtual meetings.
  • Links will be provided on the website and calendar.

Worship services will look different.

  • Friday nights: Our clergy will create and share worship experiences with us remotely
  • Saturday mornings: Our lay-led Torah study group will meet virtually at 9am and all are welcome to join (link provided via email or on the temple website)
    • Conservative Shabbat Morning worship is canceled, and all are invited to join Torah study online at 9am or to view the videos provided to worship at any time you choose
    • Clergy will be working 1:1 with previously scheduled b’nai mitzvah families to decide how to proceed with creating meaningful lifecycle events (in example, it may be postponed or conducted remotely)
  • Tuesday nights: Refuat Hanefesh Minyanim (our healing service) will be facilitated by Marty Stein virtually

Adult education will be offered remotely, when possible. Links provided below and on the calendar.
