We want to support you in creating and experiencing this Friday night Shabbat dinner at home through our Temple Beth El community. “Bringing Shabbat Home” is an opportunity to gather in each others’ homes with new and old friends on Friday, June 9th. You can take advantage of this evening as an existing small group or try a taste of the small group experience. Shabbat services will not take place that evening at Temple Beth El, but we will provide each host with easy to use resources to create a meaningful and engaging Shabbat dinner experience. You can come in to the office to pick up your “Host Kit” or download it here.

If you would like to host, you may invite as little as one or two others to your home or you may choose to make it a bigger gathering. You may choose to have it be a potluck or you may serve the meal. The choice is yours.

If you would like to host this experience at your home on June 9th, please sign up on the online form below. You may have people you already want to invite and can list them on the sign-up, or you may want to leave your table open for other congregants. If you would like to attend a Shabbat dinner experience at a home, you can go to the same online form below and sign up as a participant. Please make sure to sign-up by May 23rd.
